General Pest Control

Pest Management Systems, Inc. understands that every pest situation is different.  We are prepared to create a custom program that is right for you and your household.  In addition, this will also help prevent problem pests from your invading your biggest investment.

Quarterly Pest Control Service: Our most popular service!  This treatment is performed once every three months and by design will keep potential pest problems under control.  If you experience a recurrence in between services, there is no additional charge for our technicians to re-treat for the pests that are covered under this agreement.

Single Treatments: Pest Management Systems, Inc. also provides single treatments for any pest issue that you are experiencing.  We have a philosophy here and that is to keep our clients satisfied.  Our single treatments all have a thirty (30) day warranty.

Custom Programs: Occasionally, a tricky pest requires a unique solution.  We can design a custom program that will effectively bring the issue under control and we will continue to monitoring the problem until we feel comfortable to changing you to a quarterly schedule.

Green Pest Control: We want to do our part for the environment!  This is a new service that was designed to provide a more environmentally friendly pest control.  We are also QualityPro Green & QualityPro Schools certified.

We Practice IPM

One of the most important elements of our service is that we provide Integrated Pest Management (IPM). IPM is an industry standard that concentrates on the inspection process in order to determine the species of insect, entry points, and food sources. That information is then used to provide corrective measures to resolve the problem. By employing IPM, we are able to find and correct the root of the problem, therefore reducing the chance of it occurring again.

The IPM Approach

Six basic steps make up an IPM program and they include:

• Inspecting the area
• Identifying the pest problem
• Selecting control methods based on the size and type of the pest problem
• Employing effective control measures
• Applying pesticides judiciously
• Evaluating effectiveness

Specific IPM actions include:

• Structural repair and maintenance to exclude pests (replacing screen with holes or adding door and garage stops, etc.)
• Behavioral modification (properly storing garbage, moving wood away from house, etc.)
• Targeting a precise pesticide application only in areas that require treatment
